Well, "soon" is relatively speaking. ;)
I've been busy with other stuff lately and have not gotten around to updating the site, as evidenced by the fact that the latest news is from many months ago. I have a new photo album in the works with hundreds of new photos, will be upgrading the CMS and theme, adding details on more recent projects, and more content in general.
It won't come all at once, but eventually things will start to change for the better.
Some people suggested I use Facebook, well, I can barely upkeep my own website, forget about social networking! Plus if you want my opinion, Facebook is nowhere near as customizable or flexible, and quite full of "junk".

I've recently had a chance to play around with Blu-Ray and do some comparisons between a high-def Blu-Ray movie and a standard DVD. The difference in detail and sharpness is quite stunning. Worth the extra money? Heck yes.
See for yourself, below are two images, both a snippet of the same scene in the movie "The Dark Knight", but one is Blu-Ray at 1080p and the other one is DVD upscaled to 1080p. Can you tell which is which? No, this isn't rigged.

The MPAA, RIAA, the record labels, and the movie studios are spending so much money on all these encryption and content protection schemes, but they seem to have forgotten one fundamental principle:
What can be seen or heard can always be copied.
Their wasted money is doing nothing but inconveniencing perfectly legit consumers. |
